Ex Minister Zaid Ibrahim has been in the news lately (Malaysiakini's report here), with his controversial speech. According to Elizabeth Wong, state exco member for Selangor, he has tendered his resignation.

Former defacto Law Minister Zaid Ibrahim resigns as Senator, at the behest of the BN government.

Which goes to show, reforms will never happen under Umno, whether it’s led by Abdullah Badawi, Najid Razak or Mickey Mouse - Elizabeth Wong.
