9.39 Vigil ends. Crowd sings Negaraku and disperse

9:25: Vigil in Ipoh ends. Sivarasa and blogger Zorro are among the speakers, report Anil. No intervention from police. In PJ on the other hand, the police seem determined to try everything to foil the peaceful vigilers.

9:21 Police continue patrolling the area, blocking off the roads, and acting intimidating.

9:17: Anil reports that Kit Siang bellows: Stand up for your rights!

9:13: Going up north to Ipoh, Kit Siang is currently delivering a fiery speech, according to sources. A reported 350 crowd.

9:09 Organisers of the vigil have (amusingly) asked the vigil participants to go shopping in Amcorp Mall. Starting time of the vigil seems to have been pushed back to 9:30.
