Bintulu member of parliament Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing described Anwar as power crazy over the former call for a special session on September 23 to debate opposition motion of no-confidence against Abdullah.
The Backbencers’ club chairman said the so called emergency parliament session was callous and was proof that Anwar was desperate fighting for his own political interest.
“There is no need to call for a sitting because there is no point to it,” Borneo Post a local daily reported Tiong to have said.
Tiong also stressed that none of those involved the ’study tour of Taiwan’ expressed their interest to join Pakatan Rakyat as certain opposition figures have claimed.
“All I know is that Barisan Nasional (BN) member of parliaments have indicated that they are all behind the current leadership.” Tiong added.
Meanwhile Malaysiakini news report said Pakatan Rakyat’s relentless pursuit to take control of the central government from Barisan Nasional could well take the opposition coalition to Istana Negara.
Who is lying?
